Chobani is seeking an experienced Executive Protection Director to lead the development and execution of its executive protection program in support of the Founder and CEO.
This role reflects the need to evolve from a primarily tactical protection model to a more integrated, intelligence-led approach aligned with the company’s broader security strategy, operational complexity, and executive risk profile.
The Executive Protection Director will be responsible for ensuring that protection efforts are risk-based, discreet, and aligned with business priorities. This role will operate in close coordination with Corporate Security, the CEO’s office, and the family office to ensure consistency, clarity, and effectiveness.
Success in this role will be defined by the ability to deliver a highly trusted, well-coordinated protection program that is both operationally effective and aligned with the company’s culture and pace.
The Executive Protection Director, Corporate Security will report to the Vice President, Corporate Security, and partner closely with Operations and Executive Leadership, including coordination with the CEO’s office.
Key Responsibilities
1. Executive Protection Strategy & Program Development
- Develop and lead an executive protection strategy aligned to Chobani’s evolving risk environment
- Establish a scalable, intelligence-led approach to executive protection
- Ensure protection measures are appropriate, proportional, and aligned with executive preferences and business needs
2. Protective Intelligence & Risk Monitoring
- Establish processes to identify, assess, and monitor threats impacting the CEO and family
- Maintain awareness of global, regional, and situational risks that may affect executive activities
- Provide timely intelligence to support decision-making and planning
3. Operational Planning & Execution
- Oversee all aspects of advance planning for domestic and international travel, events, and daily movements
- Ensure consistent execution of protection protocols, including route planning, site assessments, and contingency planning
- Coordinate travel and event security in alignment with executive schedules
4. Program Management & Vendor Coordination
- Manage internal EP resources and third-party vendors across multiple locations
- Ensure consistent standards, training, and readiness across all deployed resources
- Oversee vendor performance, contracts, and related administrative responsibilities
5. Family Office & Executive Coordination
- Serve as a primary point of contact for the CEO’s office and family office on security-related matters
- Ensure alignment of protection measures across corporate, residential, and travel environments
- Support security awareness and protocol adherence among household and support staff
6. Alignment with Corporate Security
- Reports to the Vice President, Corporate Security to ensure alignment with enterprise security strategy
- Maintain clear delineation of responsibilities between executive protection and broader corporate security functions
- Support coordination on travel risk management, threat response, and related activities
Candidate Profile
1. Experience
- 10+ years of executive protection experience supporting high-profile principals
- Experience operating in both corporate and family office environments preferred
- Demonstrated experience supporting domestic and international operations
2. Leadership & Approach
- Strong judgment and discretion, with the ability to operate in high-trust environments
- Calm, confident presence with the ability to perform under pressure
- Comfortable operating independently while maintaining alignment with broader organizational objectives
3. Core Capabilities
- Expertise in protective intelligence, advance planning, and risk assessment
- Experience managing vendors and coordinating resources across geographies
- Ability to balance security requirements with executive preferences and operational realities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. Additional Requirements
- Willingness to travel extensively, often with short notice
- Flexibility to support non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
