Interim Director of Security

Provides the leadership to effectively direct and manage the Security Department Program at a regional location and all related in-house and contract services, to include the organizations police services, in alignment with the enterprise organization-wide vision to improve the health of the people in the communities we serve.  

Develops, implements and maintains a service-based culture among departmental staff and contractors that supports the operations of the facility, policies and programs that reduce security risks and creates a safe and secure environment for visitors and team members. Intervenes appropriately when conditions pose an immediate threat to life, health, or property.

Plans and directs the Security Program at a regional facility in alignment with the organization-wide vision set by senior leadership and develops, implements, and manages the strategic and tactical planning for the location’s Security services.

In addition, the Director will briefs senior leadership on the status of Security issues, represents Security on relevant committees and working groups, manage the activities and provide leadership direction to the professional, technical and support staff within the group, lead and coordinate investigations, including, but not limited to, employee behaviors/actions, public safety, and drug theft and conduct risk assessments and ensure ongoing monitoring of community activity.
