Robert is an international healthcare executive, cardiac surgeon and scientist with experience improving healthcare organizations and developing approaches to medical care and assistance. Throughout his career, he has challenged established practices and developed policies and programs for corporate and hospital settings.
As a cardiac surgeon, Robert championed beating-heart surgery and valve repair. His research on T-cell heterogeneity helped lay the groundwork for immunotherapy. Later, as a senior vice president and global medical director, he developed a new value proposition for global medical assistance following COVID-19.
Today, Robert brings together his clinical expertise, medical assistance experience and international network to support the around-the-clock needs of ultra-high-net-worth individuals and family offices. His work includes tailored Medical Emergency Response Plans (MERPs) and related services. Robert serves as a Senior Advisor in Executive and Travel Security, Medical, at CSA.
